This course provides an overview of the legal framework covering housing disrepair and conditions that pose a risk to the health and/or safety of occupiers. It is based on how those concerned about their housing conditions can be helped and advised. Participants will receive an introduction to the powers and duties of local authorities and what can be expected of them. Including action under the Housing Act 2004.
