Advice Skills Academy is an ESF funded partnership project between Citizens Advice services in the Liverpool City Region, working together to co-ordinate learning and development activity as part of developing positive learning environments.

Learn Something Today

Bitesize learning that you can do in minutes, through videos, websites, blogs and factsheets.

Plan Your

Plan your learning through looking at roles, competencies, areas for progressing and learning opportunities that are available.

Search the learning and development opportunities in the Learning Directory, including e-learning, workbooks, and face-to-face training.

We all benefit through learning as individuals, but continuous learning also has wide ranging benefits for our families, communities, our working lives, society and the economy, and this website aims to encourage people to be more proactive about learning.

In my role as Volunteer Development and Advice Services Manager at Citizens Advice Sefton, I’m passionate about learning, and about supporting others to learn and develop. The learning opportunities I’ve had as a volunteer, and as a paid member of staff, have helped shape the person I am today, so I’m always keen to help others have a similar positive experience, and lots of learning opportunities in their time at Citizens Advice.
