About Advice Skills Academy
Advice Skills Academy is an exciting European Social Fund (ESF) funded project which aims to develop the skills of staff from Citizens Advice services in the Liverpool City Region.
From identifying learning and development needs to collecting information on learning opportunities, the project will work towards developing organisations that are positive about learning, a workforce that is passionate about learning, and that feels supported in the development of their skills and knowledge.
Coordinating learning opportunities through internal and external training delivery, coaching and mentoring opportunities, Advice Skills Academy will make sure that partner organisations have a learning workforce who have up to date knowledge and skills to provide a high quality advice service to clients.

Link Staff In Local Citizens Advice
Advice Skills Academy Link staff have been identified in each Citizens Advice service. The Link staff play a key role in the project, and are responsible for registering staff as they join as participants in the project, and as they leave the project, providing participant information to the Project Manager for ESF reporting, supporting the implementation of Learning Plan frameworks, as well as promoting a positive learning environment.
